News Lectures given by Baidu UE at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University

Introduction

Baidu UE is delivering a series of lectures and activities to arts and design schools nationwide. The Internet giant is doing so to promote exchanges and integration between the user experience industry and educational designing industry. The activities will serve to build an effective platform for communication, to integrate the demand for talent and the teaching practice of the arts and design schools and to provide an opportunity for students to directly communicate with first-line designers and get to know the industry of UE.

 

The touring activities are hosted by the User Experience Department of Baidu together with many arts and design schools. The User Experience Department, or UE, is the largest Baidu design team responsible for the UI design of Baidu's products. Till 2014, the team has 300 designers, responsible for the UI design and research of Baidu products such as Baidu search, Baidu knows, Baidu Baike, map, tourism, Tieba, Wenku, Around us, News, Video, Hao123, Motu, Nuomi, Baidu Player etc.
