Introduction

On April 27, 2016, Quan Xizhen, Director of Greater China Information Technology Management of Daimler, along with six people visited the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, where the Daimler team communicated on the innovation and entrepreneurship education of Tsinghua.

During the discussion, Mr. Fu Zhiyong shared the overall situation of Tsinghua’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Curriculum System with the visiting guests from perspectives of "Three Chuang" platform (innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship), degree programs and the sponsorship of innovation competitions. He also talked about the necessity and feasibility of innovation education, cultivation of innovation of undergraduates / graduates, materalization of creativity and project incubation of students.

After the discussion, Mr. Fu Zhiyong led Daimler team to visit Tsinghua x-lab and iCenter. During the visit of Tsinghua x-lab, the director of the Joint Design Center, Wu Jiayu, introduced X-lab's practical experience in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students and demonstrated the start-ups with roots in x-lab and their products.
