Introduction

The postgraduate program of Media Design Practices is rooted in media design and science and technology exploration with award-winning courses. The program has two tracks: Lab and Field.

These two tracks (Lab and Field) are both aimed to cultivate the unique role and cultural contexts that designers should assume, while their differences may inspire new design thinking and methods. Students will learn to look at complex issues from a critical, pluralistic perspective.

In addition, the department of media design practices offers students two immersive learning experiences through designing projects and building knowledge-based partnerships. The project's curriculum and homework will promote communication and collaboration between Lab and Field. Located in the core teaching area (South Campus), the spacious shared studio is the main learning area.
